Mittelstation bereitet besseren Zugang zur Pöglalm, bzw. den Übergang zu eine der schönsten Skipisten des Tales. M-Station ist nur einseitig (bergwärts).
Ersetzt das 4 Jahre anhaltende "Provisorium" des Babyliftes (war einfach nur ein durch 2 Scheiben laufendes Seil, ultra unbequem), den man nach Abbau der DSB's Pögelbahn 1 +2 installiert hat.
